Maryland State Police have identified three men suspected in participating in a home break-in and police chase last Thursday on Broad Neck Road near Chestertown. They are Jermaine Brondale Ancrum, 37, of Hurlock; Timothy C. Brown, 29, of Cambridge; and Steven Maurice Lewis, 43, of Worton.
Ancrum is charged with armed robbery; first-degree burglary; first- and second-degree assault; and use of a handgun in commission of a felony. Brown is charged with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary; first-degree assault; use of a handgun in commission of a violent crime; motor vehicle theft; and two counts of second-degree assault.

I suspect there’s more to this incident than has been reported thus far:
Three men from Hurlock, Cambridge and Worton? Who are these men and how do they know each other? What are their backgrounds? Do they have criminal records?
And why did they attack that particular house? Surely, there must be a reason why that house was attacked, as opposed to many other thousands such homes in Kent County, or Dorchester County. Is there some sort of connection between the owners of the house and the attackers?
Who are all the people associated with the house on Broad Neck Road? Who lives there? Who owns it? What are its contents?
Because so many crimes of this nature are drug-related, is this crime drug-related?
Could this have possibly have been just a random incident, three random men randomly attacking just any home? I seriously doubt it and look forward to the results of a more detailed police investigation.
Indeed, I hope that Sheriff Price will do as well on follow-up as he did in nabbing the perps!
