Special Program: Forum on Aging, sponsored by HomePorts, featuring Dr. Lugigi Ferrucci, director of the Baltimore Longitudinal Study on Aging

Begun in 1958, the study follows the lives of over 1,400 people ranging in age from their 20s to their 90s, with regular measurements taken of physiological changes. It is the longest-running longitudinal study in the U.S. Ferrucci is a geriatrician and epidemiologist. His research interests focus on obtaining a better understanding of the effects of aging such as functional decline and susceptibility to disease in order to determine predictors of mortality.
