On Sunday, October 7, 10:00 AM, Rev. Dr. David Newell will give a sermon entitled “A Free Man’s Worship” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown, located in the Crestview subdivision. Why do people go to church and take part in worship services? What, if anything, does religion have to offer to those who remain outside the faith? Discussion will focus on a recent book by Alain de Button, titled Religion for Atheists (2012), but will not assume that you have read this book.
Religious Education for youngsters, plus childcare for infants and toddlers, will be available during the service. Please call 410-778-3440 for more information.
