On Sunday, April 3, 10 a.m., Dr. Carolyn Stegman will give a sermon entitled “Being Your Own Best Grief Counselor” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Drive, Chestertown. Grief and celebrations are interwoven in this world like winter and spring. We mourn the passing of our loved ones, our pets, our health, our youth, and so much more; and waiting on the other side is a celebration for what was. The question is how do we support ourselves in the process? This presentation is uplifting and empowering. Dr. Stegman shares ways we can tap into our own strength and resourcefulness when most vulnerable. Join us as “Grief ” is explored, along with its impact and our choices in finding the gift in the loss. Special music by Clark Bjorke and Philip Dutton.
