On Sunday, March 20, 10 a.m., Rev. Christian Schmidt will give a sermon entitled “What a Blessing! (and what’s a blessing?}” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown. Rev. Schmidt explains, “Unitarian Universalists sometimes shy away from language like “blessing,” but should we? We’ll talk about what it means to give a blessing, to receive one, and just what we’re talking about here. You are invited, though certainly not required, to bring a small object — or photo — that’s important to you to place next to our chalice during the service where it will be blessed during the service, after which you’ll take it back and have a blessing with you!”
Vocalist Sue Matthews and harpist Meredith Hadaway will provide special music for the service.
All are welcome!
Religious education and childcare will be available during the service.
Please phone 410-778-3440 for more information.
