Thursday, November 19 will be Ladies’ Night in Downtown Chestertown. Ten local businesses and restaurants are collaborating to provide an evening of shopping, dining and entertainment within Chestertown’s Historic District. Gabriel’s of Chestertown, Empty Hangers, Twigs & Teacups, Chestertown Natural Foods, Mimi’s Closet, Houston’s Dockside Emporium and Poor Richards of Chestertown will be open until at least 8pm for shoppers to peruse their merchandise and get a head start on their holiday lists before the rush begins during Thanksgiving weekend.
Chester River Wine & Cheese will be open until 7pm, offering their menu of wines by the glass and artisanal cheese boards. Jay Yerkes will be performing there from 5:30-6:30pm. Lemon Leaf Café will be offering their weekly “Thrifty Thursday” special: buy one entrée, get one entrée half price. The Kitchen at The Imperial will host musician Chris Owen in the Atrium beginning at 7pm, and will have their dinner menu as well as special cocktails available for “Ladies’ Night” revelers.
“We are thrilled by this collaboration and look forward to kicking off the holiday shopping season in style,” said Kristen Owen, President of Downtown Chestertown Association. “We believe that the best way to promote local businesses is to work together to create unique experiences for residents and visitors, and this is a wonderful example.”
