Ye Olde Town Bocce League wil be returning for its Fall Tourney immediately after Labor Day. Individuals and teams interested should contact the CRC via email or Facebook prior to Aug 28 to sign up. Teams of 4-8 adults are $50 and individuals are $10. The league will play in Wilmer Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays (and possibly Wednesdays depending on interest) from September 8–October 15.
In addition, The C-town Wiffleball League will begin playing games very soon. The League is offered for free. Games will be played from 6 pm until dusk. Location and details forthcoming based on the level of interest and advanced sign ups.
The CRC will be collecting gently used sporting equipment (gloves, cleats, shin guards, etc) at Farmers Market in August. We will then make it
available to those in need, especially those who decline to take part in County leagues due to equipment costs. Larger equipment (goals and b-ball hoops) can be discussed. Please don’t drag those types of items across downtown!
Anyone interested in signing up for any of these exciting and fun new programs can do so by sending an email to [email protected] or by
seeing us the Farmer¹s Market.
