“Writing On Water,” an Ec0-Poetry Workshop taught by Meredith Davies Hadaway will be offered through February ( February 2—March 2) for poetry enthusiasts new or seasoned. The workshops will be held Mondays, 7—9 p.m. at the Massoni Gallery in Chestertown. To sign up, email Meredith Davies Hadaway at [email protected].
“Through a series of readings, writings, and explorations, we will locate ourselves as creative forces in our environment, learn to hone our individual voices, and hear the voices of others, in order to craft a poetic response. No previous literary experience is required. Each session will include discussion of brief readings, sharing of writings by fellow-participants, and prompts to generate new work,” Hadaway says.
Limited to 10 participants. Cost: $195 for 5-week series
