Word is in from Rock Hall. The government-funded Voice of America, the great cultural voice of the United States to the rest of the world, has decided to focus some attention of the now famous nonprofit music venture in Kent County and the young trumpet player Geoff Gallante.

Screen Shot 2014-05-18 at 8.45.41 AMEarlier in the week, Mainstay was contacted by VOA on the recommendation of a senior vice president as the perfect setting to record a great jazz program. The viewing audience would be more than 40 countries and in excess of 100 million people.

It was unclear at this time when and if the Mainstay will start accepting international reservations for the 2014 performance season.
