Immerse yourself in sixteenth century England at the 35th annual Maryland Renaissance Festival, held each weekend from August 27 through October 23.
A (very) short list of entertainment includes Acrobats, Celtic Music, Children’s Sing A Longs, Hamlet in Two Acts, Jugglers, Jousters, Knife Throwers, Magicians, Puppet Shows, Romeo & Juliet, (Act II, Scene 4), Sword Duels, Sword Swallowers, and Tug O’ War. You can shop “til you drop” for jewelry, pottery, walking sticks, leather clothing, kilts and quilts, then repair to the Boar’s Head Tavern or O’Shuck’s Pub.
One day, two, six day, nine day and season passes are available.
Patrons are welcomed to wear costumes suitable for a family-friendly atmosphere to get into the spirit of the event.
No rainchecks.

No weapons (costume or real).
