The Peoples Bank announces Change for Chester Gras in an effort to raise money in support of the local Backpack programs.

No matter how large or small your donation may be, it all adds up and goes to help the children in our community. Come share in the spirit and make your donation today – every little bit counts!

Chester Gras is an annual family friendly Mardi Gras celebration sponsored by The Peoples Bank and The Kent County Food Pantry. This year is the sixth year for the event, which will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11:30am to 3pm.

This fun family event includes an authentic Mardi Gras parade, kids’ activities, live music, great food, a silent auction, and much more. All proceeds from the event benefit the local Backpack programs which send nourishing food home on the weekends for area children in need.

For more information about Chester Gras or how you can support the local Backpack program, please call Nina Fleegle at 410-810-7139 or visit www.chestergras.org.
