Steel Revolution

With the generous sponsorship of Peoples Bank, Fallfest will again provide a fun-filled day for children of all ages on Saturday, October 8, at Fallfest.

Centered at what we always call “Mr.Bill Brawner’s Village”, (corner of Main and Rt. 20) starting about 11am, you will be able to find lots of fun things to do. Here is a run-down of what is offered this year.

We will have face painting by our own local artists. Get there early to get your choice of face-fun magic!

From early to late, our Super Slide will be in operation. No adults, please!

fallfest-1NEW THIS YEAR: The Washington College steel band, STEEL REVOLUTION, will play at about 2pm. They might let some kids “sit in” so be there!

NEW THIS YEAR: Walkaround fun by John Hadfield, sometimes called “Stiltman”…(he strolls up 10 feet in the air!)…juggles, and does other kid-pleasing things.

Watch for Alex the Accordion Man, with his zany songs.

Throw a ball to knock over our milk bottles, at Spill the Milk, a game played at the old Tolchester Amusement Park. Prizes galore!

The little ones will have fun at Robin’s Fish Pond. Hook a fish and get a prize.

Don’t forget to drop by to pet Owen McCoy’s best behaved goat,Birdie, and maybe milk her too.

And a very special offering this year: The wonderful puppeteers from Blue Sky Puppet Theatre will present two shows…look for them at the Gazebo in the early afternoon, around 2.

So, don’t miss KIDS KOURT this year! And keep Mom off the Super Slide!
