Weather Alert: It’s Hot Out! Stay Cool This Weekend

August 12, 2016 by Spy Desk

Share

Dog ChillinThe heat, humidity and high temperature indices are expected to continue throughout the weekend. Please use care if you must be outside. Drink plenty of fluids and take cooling breaks.

Cooling centers remain open this weekend in Kent County at the Community Center and the public libraries.

And don’t forget your pets! They need to “chill” as well.

Kent County has two “cooling” centers: the Kent County Community Center, and Kent County Public Library. Be sure to share these cooling center web sites with staff, family, and friends.
