In 2006, after years of having an informal “twig” location in Galena, Kent County Public Library opened a full service North County branch. Whether you’re a regular at North County or haven’t yet visited, please join us on Saturday, June 18th to celebrate the branch’s ten years of service to the community and to kick-off the 2016 Summer Reading Program.
Everyone is invited! Kids can sign up to play the “On Your Mark, Get Set…READ!” summer reading game, get a free t-shirt, and learn about this year’s Fine Free Summer for Kids. Adults can mingle, learn about the library’s wide variety of resources, and share ideas about what they’d like to see at the library in the next ten years. There will be pizza and cake for all ages.
