The Blues-Keepers Band will kick off the summer season in Rock Hall, Maryland with a free outdoor concert on the back deck of the Mainstay on Main Street on Sunday June 12 at 7:00 p.m. Bring a comfortable chair. The concert will move indoors to The Mainstay in the event of rain or excessive heat. Information is also available at the Mainstay’s website https://www.mainstayrockhall.org.
The Blues-Keepers play a great mix of blues, R&B, rock n’ roll and soul music. They play songs from blues masters like, Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf and T-Bone Walker and from favorite blues influenced artists like the Rolling Stones, ZZ-Top, Ray Charles and James Brown. They will also play some of their own original songs.
The members of the band are Brice B. Sutton on bass guitar and vocals, Steven (Jerome) McGovern on harp and vocals, Ray Anthony on drums and Jimmy James on guitars, Dobro and vocals. With their deep passion for the blues and soul, The Blues Keepers Band always provides a foot-stomping show that will leaves an audience feeling anything but blue.
This free outdoor concert is one of three that the Mainstay will present this summer a way of giving back to the community that supports it so well. The next concert in the free outdoor series will be New and Used Bluegrass on Saturday June 25.
