Local fitness instructors Aundra Anderson and Natalie Lane will offer free Zumba Fitness classes on Friday evenings this summer.
This ‘Free on Friday’ series begins Friday, May 20, from 5:20-6:00 p.m. at the Johnson Fitness Center at Washington College. The class will be open to the community and offered free of charge. No Zumba Fitness or dance experience is required to attend. Recommended for ages 14 and higher.
Zumba Fitness is a class designed to bring people together. We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Come join the party and see what this total body workout can do for you! Bring water, a friend, and a good attitude and we’ll supply the rest.
Instructors Anderson and Lane also plan to begin the summer season with a “Zumba Party in the Park” kick-off event scheduled for Monday, May 16, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Wilmer Park. This event is also free and open to the public.
