Chestertown RiverArts is pleased to announce the opening of the third annual Art of Stewardship juried exhibition on April 1, First Friday, from 5 to 8 pm.
This year’s show, curated by Meredith Davies Hadaway and Jacqui von Voss includes poetry as well as a broad range of other media, including painting, sculpture, photography, fiber mixed-media, kinetic, and more. Vicco von Voss served as jurist, selecting the works shown in the exhibition.
The public is invited to attend the award ceremony, beginning at 5:45 on Frist Friday. Poet and playwright Robert Earl Price will judge and present poetry awards. Internationally renowned artist Greg Mort, and founder of the Art of Stewardship Project, is judging the visual art.
In addition, new photos and stories in our ongoing series, Humans of Kent County are featured in the studio gallery through the month of April. Stop in and see some of the wonderful people who live in our corner of the Eastern Shore.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11 am – 4pm, Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. First Fridays the gallery is open until 8pm.
