On Sunday, Mar 13 at 10 AM, Ms. Linda Dutton will give a sermon entitled “My Thoughts about the Pleasures and Paradoxes of Sex and Social Justice” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown. Linda Dutton’s personal stories, volunteer experiences with PFLAG, and current events will be combined to illustrate how she sees important life phases and shared responsibilities. Her comments are intended to celebrate, inform, and inspire everyone (especially us cisgender [a person whose self-identity conforms with the gender of his or her biological sex], straight, aging allies) that non-judgmental, safe, and supportive situations must exist for youth to explore and grow into their adult selves.
Creating healthy intimate relationships is as important for youth and society now as it as always been. We coexist among vast generational, cultural, and technological variations in our daily experiences, and everyone has relevance and wants connection. And the challenge is . . . ?
All are welcome!
Religious education and childcare will be available during the service. Please phone 410-778-3440 for more information.
