The pioneering woodwind and percussion ensemble, Langley Winds, will offer their innovative programming at the Garfield Center for the Arts in Chestertown on Friday, March 11 at 7 pm. The show is free and open to the public.
The group, composed of professional airman musicians, perform a wide array of musical styles guaranteed to please everyone. In addition to patriotic tunes, the show will include a chorale prelude by JS Bach, songs by such diverse composers as Charles Ives, John Williams, George Gershwin and Astor Piazzola, and even a tribute to David Bowie.
