Tom Timberman will present “Age of the Oligarchs: A Trump-Cruz-Rubio Middle East Policy” at the February 18 club meeting at JR’s Pub back room on 337 High Street. With the presidential election this year, it’s timely to explore the consequences of a Trump, Cruz or Rubio foreign policy. What would happen to U.S. foreign relations if one of the Republican front-runners wins in November? Tom has some answers.
Tom Timberman is a former attorney, senior Foreign Service officer, professor and small business owner. He has served as an economic/political development team leader in six war zones, most recently Afghanistan and Iraq. Tom lectures at U.S. and European universities on national security issues as well as to American World Affairs Councils.
The February 18 meeting at JR’s Pub in the back room will begin at 5:30 with an opportunity to order a meal or a drink. A short business meeting will begin at 6:45 and the program will begin at 7:00 and end at 8:00.
