The Kent County Extension Office will begin its eighteenth annual Horticulture Lecture Series for gardeners and professionals on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. The programs will be held at the Kent County Public Library, 408 High Street, Chestertown, MD 21620.

All sessions run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Feb. 26: Painting a Planted Canvas for All Seasons (Container Gardening), Molly Garrett, QA County Master Gardener Coordinator, Container Garden Designer and Owner at Field + Canvas Co.
March 4: The Right Tree in the Right Place, Jonathan Cowherd, Certified Arborist, Barlett Tree Experts
March 11: Invasive Species and some Native Alternatives, Eric Buehl, Regional Watershed Restoration Specialist, UMD Sea Grant Extension Program
March 18: Garden CSI: What is hiding in your plants? Mikaela Boley, Talbot County Master Gardener Coordinator
Special Event: Saturday, March 19, 2016, “2nd Annual Seed Swap” at the Kent County Public Library, 408 High St., Chestertown, MD, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Do not need to register. Open to all. Free.
