If the name Jim O’Leary sounds familiar, it might be because you know him in his capacity as a scientist rather than artist. His day job is as the Senior Scientist at the Maryland Science Center. You may have heard him co-hosting SkyWatch on WYPR or seen him on TV talking about astronomy and space science.
During January, take advantage of the opportunity to get to know Jim O’Leary as a photographer through his “Nature and Wildlife” exhibit, which will be on display at Kent County Public Library’s North County branch during the month of January.
The exhibit opened on January 5th and can be viewed during regular library hours.
