The annual RiverArts holiday extravaganza is just around the corner and is an excellent opportunity for our member artists to reach a wide and appreciative audience. We are seeking small gift items for the exhibit, that will fill RiverArts Gallery and be an excellent destination for holiday shoppers.
Important show dates are as follows:
Drop-off – Sunday, November 15, from 1-3 pm
Monday, November 16, from 10 am to 1 pm.
Members-only reception – Thursday, November 19, 5-8 pm
First Friday – December 4, 5-8 pm
Pick-up – Sunday, January 3, from 1-3 pm
Monday, January 4, from 10 am to 1 pm.
Artists must be RiverArts members and new members are welcome to participate. Artists may submit 3 large items or 30 small pieces, with an opportunity to restock as sales are made. The total entry fee is $10. This fee is waived for artists who pay a yearly fee to exhibit in the Gift Shop.
As always, we encourage you to bring items priced under $100. Consider gifts for men, women, children, pets and the home. We urge painters and photographers to enter miniatures—small pieces that will make original art an affordable present.
The logistics of the holiday show require complex coordination and cooperation. Please register on line or send an email or call if you expect to participate, letting us know what sort of art you will bring. In reply, RiverArts will provide registration forms and full information on how to label and prepare your items.
