Chuck Cook, Political Director for the Maryland Democratic Party, will be the featured speaker at the Democratic Club of Kent County meeting on September 19 at 10:15 at the Yellow Building behind the Kent County Public Library. Cook will update the audience on current political issues in Maryland and present ideas to energize Democrats.
Chuck Cook is a veteran of numerous campaigns at every level of government. Originally a software developer, he began working on campaigns during the 2008 Democratic Primary Election as a volunteer county coordinator for President Obama in Wicomico County. Since then, he has left his former career and has worked on Congressional campaigns, Gubernatorial campaigns, County Council campaigns, and has been the Campaign Manager for both of Mayor Jim Ireton’s successful elections in Salisbury. His passion in electoral politics is in messaging and field work for Democratic candidates. Chuck lives in Salisbury, MD with his wife Jessica and their three children.
