In the Gallery: Our show in April is a month long celebration of Earth Day. The show features a wide selection of beautiful abstract and representational wall sculpture that was either created from renewable media (hand-made cotton paper) or material ultimately destined for the landfill, Styrofoam. Among the sculptures on display is Pam’s highly acclaimed (artFcity.com “Color Wheel” selection) the all Styrofoam bas-relief Out of the Blue, and the classical abstract expressionist handmade cotton paper bas-relief Biorhythm a selection for Rehoboth’s 2014 Biennial.
In the Studio: See sculptor Pam Foss at work on the three life-size St Bernard’s models she is creating for the bronzes she was commissioned to create for Ohio State University. June and April the first two St Bernard’s are complete and will be on their way to Polich-Tallix foundry in New York the week of April 13th. May, the third of the three St Bernard’s Pam has underway in her studio is well on its way towards completion. You only have until April 13th to check out these three amazing sculptures. They are going to Ohio State immediately after they are cast in bronze and not be returning to Chestertown, so don’t miss out seeing them before they leave Chestertown, forever.
The show opens on Friday, April 3rd at 5:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served. For more information please call (410) 490-1140 or visit the gallery’s website: www.pamfosssculpture.com
