The Eastern Shore Blues Society and the Garfield Center for the Arts are pleased to announce the return of the Chestertown Blues Series, beginning Friday, April 10 at 8 pm with a tribute concert in celebration of Muddy Waters’ 100th birthday featuring the Nighthawks and special guest, ‘Steady Rollin’ Bob Margolin.
The Nighthawks, known for their energetic, joyous live shows and infectious brand of blues and roots rock, consist of harmonica maestro Mark Wenner, guitar virtuoso Mark Bell, and a stellar rhythm section of bassist Johnny Castle, and drummer Mark Stutso. Bob Margolin played in the Muddy Waters band for seven years, and was also in the acclaimed film The Last Waltz with Waters.

Blue-eyed soul & R&B artist John Nemeth plays September 11, boogie-woogie pianist Deanna Bogart performs October 9, and back by popular demand, Damon Fowler rounds out the series on November 13.
