Ever wonder why some recycling companies provide one single container and others ask you to sort?
The Garfield Center for the Arts will present two free showings of the short film, “Single Stream,” along with a talk-back by Ford Schumann of Infinity Recycling, who is a proponent of dual stream method on Friday, April 3 at 6 pm.
The event is part of the Earth Stewardship Days program, a month-long series of events in greater Chestertown designed to raise awareness of the importance of taking care of the earth.
The first showing is at 6 pm, followed by the talk back at 6:30, with a second showing at 7 pm.
Sponsors of the film are the Sassafras River Association and Infinity Recycling.
The film is free and open to the public. Garfield Center for the Arts at the Prince Theatre is located at 210 High Street, Chestertown, MD, 21620. For more information visit www.GarfieldCenter.org or call the box office at 410 810 2060.
