Time to dust off that picnic basket, grab a bottle of wine and a blanket and head to the park for Shore Shakespeare Company’s production of William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors!
This rollicking comedy features not just one, but TWO sets of twins and their adventures when one set arrives in Ephesus, unknown to, and unaware of, the other. Confusion reigns, and hilarity ensues, as the straight-laced Syracusans come face-to-face with the free-spirited Ephesians. The Comedy of Errors was Shakespeare’s first big hit. It became the basis for the smash Rogers & Hart Broadway musical The Boys from Syracuse.
Performances of The Comedy of Errors will be held al fresco during May 2015. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic and a blanket or lawn chair. Please watch this space or call 410 690 3165 for weather-related updates.
