Nine local chefs will compete for the honor of best chili recipe.at The Humane Society of Kent County’s fourth annual chili cook-off on Sunday, March 22. The event is part of a weekend of activities at Crow Vineyard & Winery in Kennedyville in support of The
Humane Society. On Saturday the farm’s yellow labs, Babe and Myrtle, invite friends to celebrate their birthdays in style with treats for themselves as well as their two legged guests.
Participants include Barbara’s on the Bay, Crow Vineyard & Winery, the Fish Whistle, Kitchen at the Imperial, Kitty Knight House, Lemon Leaf Café, Molly Mason’s, O’Connor’s Pub and Uncle Charlie’s Bistro. The chili samples are free, however guests are encouraged to vote with their dollars for their favorite recipe. Bowls of chili are available for purchase to eat there or take home.
