Sandra Jackson Appointed to the RiverArts Board

Sandra Willett Jackson

RiverArts welcomed Sandra Willett Jackson to the Board of Directors at their January meeting. As Co-founder and Principal of Strategies & Structures International, Jackson applies extensive management experience in government, business and the non-profit sectors to strategic problem-solving for public service agencies, progressive companies and community-based organizations in the U.S. and developing markets. She has raised, managed and been accountable for private, public and mixed-source operating budgets. She has worked widely in Central-Eastern Europe and in Vietnam.

Previously, Jackson served as President of Vital Voices Global Partnership, Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs in the U.S. Department of State, Senior Office for Consumer Affairs with the John Hancock Insurance Company, Peace Corps Director in Hungary and as Director of the East Europe Foundation and the charity, Hope for Children in Vietman.

Ms. Jackson earned a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. She is a published photographer, avid potter and community volunteer. A native of Massachusetts, she is married to media consultant and photojournalist Neal Jackson.
