UU Church “A Very Merry Unitarian Christmas” Set for December 21

December 18, 2014 by Unitarian Universalists

Share

On Sun, December 21, 10 AM, Rev. John Wright will present a sermon entitled “A Very Merry Unitarian Christmas” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown. We get used to things, don’t we? We tend to think, incorrectly of course, that the way things are now is the way they’ve always been. In this service Rev. Wright will look at some of the ways the celebration of Christmas has changed over the years, and how our Unitarian and Universalist ancestors played an important part in the shaping of our modern Christmas traditions.

Join us for learning, discussion, and fellowship, a UU tradition.

Childcare and children’s programs will be available. Please call for more information at 410-778-3440 or email [email protected].
