On Thursday, October 2, Chestertown RiverArts held a special party for their artists, patrons and visionaries, to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of Studio Tour and preview the Studio Tour exhibition.
Honored guests, Richard Coffman, Acting CEO, and Rob Thompson and Kristen Owen, Loan Officers of Chesapeake Bank and Trust Company, were on hand to accept a certificate of appreciation for fifteen years of unflagging support of the Studio Tour. In this way Chesapeake Bank has shown its support for Kent County’s artists and the community as a whole.
Cindy Fulton, co-chair of the Studio Tour, made the presentation. After eleven years, Cindy is stepping down as co-chair. She has done a superb job growing the tour, welcoming and assisting the tour’s artists, and staying on top of all aspects of the event. Her hard work and many successes also were acknowledged at event. Even though she is stepping down, she has pledged to continue to help out, especially during the transition phase.
The tour will take place October 24-25 and November 1-2, 10-5, rain or shine. This year, the gallery exhibition is up for the whole month of October so that visitors can get their brochures, see samples of work and then plan their itineraries. The exhibition is in the Main Gallery at RiverArts, 315 High Street, Suite 106. For more information call 410-778-6300, email [email protected] or visit our website, www.chestertownriverarts.org where you can download the 2014 brochure.
