October 4, 2014 by Unitarian Universalists

Share

On Sun, October 5, 10 AM, Ms. Annie Lavin will present a sermon entitled “We Love You; You’re Perfect’ Now Change!” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown. Childcare and children’s programs will be available. Please call for more information at 410-778-3440 or email [email protected].

Most of us have a love-hate relationship with change. Our natural tendency is to resist change. Change can be feared, discouraged even punished. Yet even when change is for the better, it requires vision and discipline. (Ouch!) Change is inevitable; look around you. Look at you! Perhaps our only response to change is how we choose to deal with it. We can be authors and designers, or we can passively react to the world changing around us and miss golden opportunities.

Join us as we look at this ongoing phenomenon in our lives and consider how we are handing change personally and as a congregation. This crazy wonderful world is not done changing and neither are we!

Religious Education for youngsters and childcare for infants and toddlers will be available during the service.
