The brothers of the Omicron-Phi chapter of Kappa Sigma at Washington College will host a pancake breakfast in downtown Chestertown on Saturday, September 27, to benefit prostate cancer research and veterans’ services. The buffet will be held from 8 a.m. til noon at Emmanuel Church, 101 N. Cross Street, and is open to the public. Tickets are $5 and include pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, juice, and coffee.
The proceeds will be divided between the University of Virginia’s Medical Center for Prostate Cancer Research and the Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Fund. (The Fund supports military charities such as the Wounded Warrior Project and the Fisher House Foundation, which provides nearby housing for families of wounded veterans undergoing medical treatment.)
