On Sun, August 31, 10 AM, Dr. Steve Wolin will lead a discussion entitled “Reconciliation” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown. This talk is the third of a three-part series titled “Apology, Forgiveness and Reconciliation.” Dr. Wolin will briefly describe the earlier sessions so that everyone attending can participate in the discussion. Reconciliation is the final step of turning a former enemy into an ally. Although rare, reconciliation is possible. We will examine this extraordinary process through the stories and photos of eight Rwandan couples twenty years after the genocide where Hutus slaughtered nearly one million of their Tutsi neighbors. All are welcome to join our discussion.
Religious education for youngsters and childcare will resume on September 7. Please call for more information at 410-778-3440 or email [email protected].
