On Sun, August 17, 10 AM, Ms. Kim Agee will lead a gathering entitled “Poetry Sunday at UUCR” for the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown. All are welcome to join us as we aim to express our third and fourth principles through poetry. (Third principle: Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregation. Fourth principle: A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.) The congregation invites everyone to bring a poem that speaks to his or her own spiritual journey to share with the group. Our time together can include praise, compassion and solidarity for each other as we travel together on our individual journeys.
Religious education for youngsters and childcare will resume on September 7. Please call for more information at 410-778-3440 or email [email protected].
