Working in partnership with the Queen Anne’s County Health Department Addictions Program, the advocacy group Recovery For Shore will host a free screening of “The Anonymous People,” Thursday, July 31, at the Queen Anne’s County Library in Centreville. This documentary film highlighting the 23 million Americans in long-term recovery is a clarion call for a new and enlightened awareness of the promise of recovery from alcohol and other drug abuse and addiction, and for a new and better approach to addressing the suffering caused by addiction.
Doors open for refreshments and socializing at 6 p.m., and the film screening begins at 6:30p.m. Admission is free but due to limited seating, advance online reservations are recommended via Eventbrite.com, Eventbrite.com, https://www.eventbrite.com/e/
