Learn How to Correct Your Mistakes in Watercolor
Everyone makes mistakes, right? But correcting them is another matter. Especially in a medium as unforgiving as watercolor.
Christine O’Neill is an award-winning Rock Hall artist who lives part-time on a sailboat and teaches at the Maryland Hall for Creative Arts and Kent Island Federation of the Arts. She has offered to share her secrets for correcting mistakes in watercolor with us. Christine, an active member of Chestertown RiverArts, is also a Signature Member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society, a member of the Annapolis Watercolor Club, and a member of the National Watercolor Society. She loves to paint boats and highlights her paintings with the contrast between sun and shadow.
This two-hour session will be given on Friday, July 18, from 10 am to 12 noon, at RiverArts. Class will be small (limited to 10 students) to allow for personal attention. Cost is $45.00 for members and $50.00 for nonmembers, and each student will be asked to bring some problem paintings for hands-on, practical advice; also bring your painting supplies!
