Cooperative Art Gallery Opening in St. Michaels

April 24, 2014 by St. Michaels Events

Share

St. Michaels Events is opening, a non-profit cooperative art gallery in historic St. Michael on Talbot Street in mid-May that will provide a venue for St. Michaels and the Tri-state area artists to display and sell their work.

The gallery will be located in the heart of the retail/historic district at 210 S Talbot Street. This amazing location is spacious and will house a two-level gallery with additional workshop space, meeting room and studio/gallery rooms.

Come join us this upcoming weekend during Winefest in St. Michaels and meet some of the areas local artisans. The gallery will be hosting the Arts in Easton Banner Auction Program the work of the Avalon Foundation. Bridget Whited, Talbot Country Teacher of the Year, will be bringing some of our very talented St. Michaels High School Art Students. This weekend’s exhibit will give our local residents, visitors and interested artists an opportunity for a sneak-peak at our location.

Local Port of Art welcomes artists applications for those who may be interested in exhibiting their work. Applications are available in person at the shop and all work will be juried.
