From a very small office in a remote section of Cambridge, Delmarva Community Transit’s (DCT) Dave Ryan spoke about DCT’s fleet of over 100 vehicles dedicated to providing public transportation throughout the Eastern Shore. It fact, DCT is operating one of the state’s largest transportation systems.
In his interview with the Spy, Dave talks about the slightly “below the radar” public transportation system, a division of Delmarva Community Services, Inc. (DCS). While DCS was created 40 years ago to serve citizens with developmental disabilities, the organization has increasingly had to expand its scope to help other populations in need.
