Spring is officially here and the National Music Festival will be starting soon – now a seasonal favorite of many music-lovers in the area. As an instructive preview, Director Richard Rosenberg will speak at WC-ALL’s Wednesday April 9th Learn at Lunch (12N at Hynson Lounge, Hodson Hall, Washington College) about the National Music Festival – why it is needed, how it was conceived, why it is structured as it is, and about its goals for the future.

Director Rosenberg was a student of Leonard Bernstein, Herbert von Karajan, and Sir Roger Norrington. His past musical experiences include guest conducting throughout the United States, Europe and South America, and recording with Naxos Records. He has also co-produced several CDs with the jazz legend, Dave Brubeck.

This Learn at Lunch event promises to enlighten and entertain everyone who loves Chestertown’s premier musical event.
Contact Sue Calloway, WC-ALL Administration (410-778-7221), for tickets.
