On Sun, Mar 23, 10 AM, Dr. Gary Schiff will give a sermon entitled “The Righteous Among Nations” to the Unitarian Universalists of the Chester River, 914 Gateway Dr., Chestertown.

Gary Schiff, cantor at the Chestertown Havurah and longtime friend of UUCR, will be will speak about those extraordinary individuals who risked their own lives to save Jews during the Holocaust in Europe, who they were, and what made them tick.
Dr. Schiff, an author and educator, has personal knowledge of this time in history. He lost many family members, their stories, and their rich history to the Holocaust. He has studied and traveled extensively to the sites most affected. Dr. Schiff will sing for us during this memorable service.
