Being successful in the work place often requires a healthy measure of creativity and creativity is the theme of a group of four lectures underway at RiverArts. The series was kicked off in January by Zane Carter to a standing-room only crowd.
Ron Fithian of Rock Hall is the next speaker.
Ron will talk at the RiverArts gallery on Wednesday, February 12 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, with plenty of time for questions and answers. He will talk about growing up in Rock Hall and his life as a waterman. Ron will illustrate how creative problem-solving helped him succeed in working ‘for and against Mother Nature’. Ron learned to take careful stock of his environment and identify continuously changing avenues for victory. He will talk about seeing the connections between the things around us, working hard, and loving what you do. He will also describe the beauty of freedom when you work for yourself.
Whether toiling on the water or in an office, trying to landscape your yard, managing a business, or developing a plan to reach your personal goals, Ron’s talk will inspire you with good ideas and real life examples of the practical application of creative thinking.
To hear this very interesting talk, you can register online at www.chestertownriverarts.org, call 410 778 6300, email [email protected], or stop by the gallery at 315 High Street, Suite 106, Chestertown. Admission is $20.00; RiverArts members pay $15.00. Payment can also be made at the door the night of the talk.
Up next will be Diane Landskroener, March 12, and Tom McHugh, April 16. Come see what all the buzz is about!
