Jeannie Haddaway: The New Face of the Republican Party in Maryland

January 6, 2014 by Dave Wheelan

Share

If there is one town where the Craig-Haddaway campaign does not need to worry about in their quest to win the state’s gubernatorial election in 2014 it would be St. Michaels Maryland. Regardless of party affiliation, the community seems to have already declared an early victory for the two term delegate from Neavitt with dozens of highway signs boasting the David Craig-Jeannie Haddaway Republican ticket more than a year before the statewide election.

But winning the rest of the state is another matter.

In her interview with the Spy, Ms. Haddaway, graduate of Salisbury and former Audubon and NRD staffer, talks frankly about her historic early entrance into the world of politics, her working relationship with running-mate David Craig (former Harford County executive) and their strategy for convincing a very blue state to take a fresh look at the new Republican Party for 2014.

The video lasts approximately ten minutes.
