Community Breakfast Group on Homeowners Tax Credits November 7

The next meeting will be on Thursday, November 7, 2013 and the speaker will be Amy Smith, Supervisor of Assessments for Kent County.  Her topic will be the Homeowners Tax Credit Program.

The Kent Community Breakfast Group (Kent CBG) recently heard comments and asked questions of all the Chestertown Mayoral candidates, the two candidates for Chestertown’s First Ward seat and two of the four candidates for Chestertown’s Third Ward seat at their weekly meetings.

The Kent CBG meets every Thursday morning  at 7:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express in Chestertown and the public is invited to attend.  Breakfast is available for a small fee.   Other speakers have included Judy Crow from Crow Farm, Jackie Adams, Director of the Kent County Public Library, Tom Timberman on Democratic Foreign Policy and Peter Metcalf on the use of technology in political campaigns.
