DVCC, Inc., a global industrial holding company consisting of Dixon Valve & Coupling Company and other manufacturing entities, announces the acquisition of Bearon Corporation. The acquisition was effective April 30, 2013.
Headquartered in Manheim, Pa., Bearon is a leading provider of metal components, supporting a regional and national customer base of industrial, agricultural, marine, automotive and transportation, medical equipment and defense sectors.
Following the acquisition, the company’s name has been changed to Bearon Manufacturing, Inc. Charles L. Beard continues as president of the company, which operates out of a state-of-the-art 35,000 sq. ft. facility located near Manheim.
The Bearon production facility, built in 2003, contains a wide variety of machining and processing equipment including 24 CNC machines such as lathes, vertical mills and horizontal CNCs with pallet changers. Two additional onsite facilities provide for production of PVC products and packing for naval ships.
Established in 1980 and originally known as Keystone Enterprises, Bearon Manufacturing machines, manufactures and supplies a wide range of high quality components and assemblies utilizing castings, bar stock, weldments, PVC, painting, plating and anodizing applications.
Because of the company’s nearly 35 years of experience working with pattern makers and foundries, Bearon has the ability to process parts from start to finish. “We pride ourselves in our ability to support a customer through the entire process from design to fabrication and delivery.
