Learn how to raise a well-behaved, well-socialized puppy and set up your new family member for a lifetime of success!. We will cover basic manners and puppy games. A good portion of each class will be devoted to play time so participating puppies can work on their social skills, and their owners can learn about behavior and play supervision. Read on for details.
WHAT: Puppy Head Start participants will learn about puppy raising basics, puppy manners, and beginning level obedience, along with games to play with your new friend (mostly educational!), trick training (an important part of lifetime learning!), and basic agility. All the skills covered help build a strong bond with your new best friend and help them put their best foot forward. The class will be taught by Barbara Ellis.
WHEN: Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. for six weeks beginning May 11 and continuing on May 18, 25, June 1, 8, and 15.
