The vision of Family & Community Partnerships of Kent County (FCPKC/LMB) is to serve and strengthen families in our local communities through creative programs and activities developed by and for the resident of Kent County.
The FCPKC/LMB seeks proposals from organizations that are based in Kent County or from any organization with a project that has specific benefit to Kent County residents. This grant program supports community-based projects that are consistent with our priority result areas. These include projects that increase opportunities for people of all ages to lead healthy lives and to work, learn, create, contribute, and prosper.
Priority will be given to projects that advance our vision while simultaneously bringing the applicant organization to the next level of operational, programmatic, financial, or organizational maturing, positioning it to more effectively and/or efficiently fulfill its mission in the future. Proposals that will advance the vision of our organization may include projects that promote:

Opportunities to work, contribute and prosper: including but not limited to programs that encourage entrepreneurship, workforce readiness and volunteerism.
Opportunities to learn: including but not limited to education programs in schools and community settings.
