African American History Discussion: Life on Cannon Street – Thursday, March 21, 6:30 PM at the Bordley Building, 301 High Street in Chestertown, everyone is welcome to join the Historical Society of Kente County and members of the Diversity Dialogue group for conversation and sharing of life and times when Cannon Street in Chestertown was the happening spot to be. We’ll also present a preview of the Mapping African American History in Chestertown Exhibit, based on our first discussion in January. Milford Murray’s Chicken Gumbo will be served!
Coin Clinic with Doc Smith: Saturday, March 23: 9:00-12 noon: The Historical Society is having another of its popular coin clinics with Doc Smith on Saturday, March 23 from 9:00-12 noon at 301 High Street (future Bordley History Center, Corner of Cross & High Streets in Chestertown); bring your coins for overview and appraisal by our expert, Doc Smith, $5 donation to the H.S. for an appraisal of up to 15 coins per person. Remember – do not clean your coins! This is a fun event, even if you don’t have any coins, you might enjoy just watching!
