Captain Tanya Banks-Christensen and the crew of the schooner SULTANA were up bright and early to prepare for the schooner’s annual maintenance haul out. SULTANA was pulled from the water at Georgetown Yacht Basin around 9:00am Wednesday morning, and by all appearances the schooner looked to be in great condition.
Captain Tanya and the crew will spend the next 15 days sanding and painting SULTANA before re-launching in mid August. The schooner’s work site is not open to the general public, but we encourage you to follow our progress on Facebook.
